Really not good idea.. best is to buy global EU version..

Would have appreciated an upgrade to EMUI 13 at the very least. I must say the customer care in my country is above average. However, the disappointing upgrade cycle and lack of access to Harmony is the biggest reason I may not consider another Huawei phone for a while. It's more about how they view me/us: any value, importance. International clients who buy Huawei make serious compromise.

You don't have to like the phones but having another chipset on the market is brilliant. I wouldn't mind having a Hisilicon chipset in my devices just to put more pressure on the market leaders. Then again, if Hisilicon becomes the market leader I would perhaps switch to the underdog. The underdog usually provides most bang for the buck too. That's what I usually go for. 9000S isn't super competitive right now but it's a good start.

You must be forgetting samsungs drop in market share worldwide, QoQ and YoY while they also arent making any profit and are losing heavily. Most of samsungs sales come from their mid range phones aswell and they are actively in more markets than most other brands and invest way more in to advertisment and branding than any other brand bar apple maybe, again popularity does not equate to better and if you fall fot that trap, i feel sorry for you. I mean based off what you think Macdonalds is the "top dog" of fast food?
Samsungs low end dont really get updates like other budget devices and basically run a fully watered down version of one ui, samsung seem to have also been struggling with their updates for a while with all the fixes theyve been needing to do since release of the s23 series.
I mean what does the s23u do more vs an oppo x6 pro, xiaomi 13 ultra, sony xperia 1 V, honor magic5 pro, vivo x90 pro+... Oh wait nothing and is generally worse in more ways vs these devices. If you think having a built in stylus that adds weight and increases the price drastically is a worth while feature then good for you, 90%+ of the other users will never use it, I'd rather a charger was in the box than that. Also the "overclocked 8g2"in sammys basically doesnt perform any better and generally throttles more so if, again, you're falling for all this marketing rubbish be my guest lol.
Oppo do 4 years of updates and 5 of security and i recieved android 13 on my find x5 before any samsung device did lol (last september which the uk was late to getting the update, only pixels got it earlier officially). Oneplus also do 4 years and 5 of security, xiaomi now do 4 years with 5 of security, im sure a couple other non chinese brands do 4 years of updates now too. Also huawei has a desktop mode, has done for years, ive used it and it was simple and easy to use, xiaomi also have their own desktop mode,
I think oppo might have one too but not sure if it works the same as samsung/huawei. Motorola has its own desktop mode too, im also surr some devices like xiaomi, moto and huawei have displayport 1.2 input which i dont believe samsung does.
Fyi my 2 favourite brands during most of androids existence has been LG and Samsung, 2 south korean companies, but chinese fanboy i am obviously. 🙂

[deleted post] Why should one of the most popular international sites on mobile phones restrain from reporting about mobile phones from Huawei or whatever company?
After all, Huawei phones have been hugely popular around the entire globe and there's still plenty of engineering talent and brilliance in order to design new interesting products, even after being hampered by sanctions.
The P60 pro, by the way, recently took the top spot at dxomark's smartphone camera ranking.
So how is that not of any relevance to the readership and the consumers?
