The last thing I want is 10 mediocre in power cores and only 2 of them are being used. It's silly. 4 cores is enough on the PC so therefore it's more than enough on mobile.

Folk say it too late to bring out a new o/s or its to late to the table..Then when psion was around bb and palm are to late to the table..Then Symbian arrived from psion so that would be late to the table..Then o2 xda with windows arrived that would then be considered to late to the table..Then android come out with no video record etc that would then be too late to the table...
These new o/s take I while to build up like every other o/s then folk warm to them and they become the trendy smartfone and take top place its just how things go,nothing lasts forever,

I guess you sir are full of resources eater phone. What else do you want in it? A bazooka or an ak-47? Sounds funny how you are making a phone, a computer competing equipment. That's so much not good, frankly speaking.

Well, the Bada had higher market share, than WP untill Samsung kept selling those devices. So I think, if Samsung starts to sell Tizen phones with good prices (like they did with S8500), they will be able to get adequate market share to be the nr. 3-4 os in the mobile market.

I used to be the biggest supporter of MeeGo, then Nokia dropped it, then I was the biggest supporter of Tizen but nothing was heard of it (until now), then I looked at Sailfish but it didn't have the unique interface that I was looking for (niether did Tizen to be honest).
Now Ubuntu for Mobiles has been shown. With a fresh new UI that I am really liking and me being a huge linux fan as well as a developer, Ubuntu for Mobiles and Android will be my platforms of choice.

I seriously doubt that Tizen will do anything in today's market. In the foreseeable future, the only OSes that can possibly do well are Ubuntu and maybe (just maybe) Firefox OS.
Android and iOS will always remain as the top 2. WP and Ubuntu can compete against each other for the next 2 spots. Firefox OS can sneak into the market through their low cost handsets. Otherwise, there is no room for any other OS at all. Even if it can run Android Apps just as well as it runs native apps.

this might be better than the S4 and much cheaper. Kinda like the S8500 - you could feel Samsung gave it everything they had and the phone was amazing. Just had Bada which was very good but no games. Hopefully first Tizen devices will be similar.

I look forward to the latest Tizen handset. Samsung has proven that it can develop innovative, original software. Tizen + TouchWiz will gain Samsung true platform independence at both hardware and OS levels. Apple and Google R.I.P.

I have test a tizen developper phone, and it is horrible. Similar to bb10 from RIM. It is a very basic design, and limited os. Moreover there is NO ecosystem for it. Same as BADA. Better buy an android high end device, which is top1 system for next 5 years.

Google wants Android to be 1 app at a time even though it is capable of real multitasking. Samsung has too many innovations now that it can no longer live only with Android; hopefully Tizen will be successful and that will force Google to make Android even better.
