Samsung Galaxy Fan Edition: For Fans! (Not including fans who want headphone jacks, memory card slots, the ability to use the hardware they payed for to its fullest potential {looking at you, "Game Optimizer Service}, or even just a phone that doesn't have a damn fuse in it that blows when you root it, effectively destroying the ability to restore it to factory configuration despite the hardware's inherent ability to run the default software with all features enabled.)

600USD is a normal price for this popular phone.

DOA. Worse specs than a base S23 and the price is on par with that one, except maybe if bought in a contract. And it boots the awful Exynos 2200 in Europe, so nobody should ever consider it over an S23 anyways over here!

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2023A54 worse than A34, did I read wrong?It is worse, it has bigger bezels and a worse chipset. Yes, the Exynos 1380 scores better than the Dimensity 1080, but due to optimization it runs worse. The only thing that's better in the A54, are the cameras, but not by a mile.

Oh yeah, flags... moreFlagship chip? The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is right around the corner, the 8 Gen 1 is NOT a flagship chip anymore, it's also well know to run much hotter than ideal and the phone is rumored to come with huge bezels.

It will cost more, it's just won't be worth it.
You can get any phone from the S22 series for about as much as this is going to cost, or even for less. I assume it will cost around 650-700 usd.

Oh yeah, flagship chip, almost flagship cameras with 12mp ultra wide with telephoto (and not a crap 8mp ultrawide with 2mp macro or depth), flagship software with 4+5 years of support with dex, wireless charging, ip68 and gorilla glass victus, definitely this doesn't cost more than 450$ 🤣🤣🤣

Maybe reduce the camera's available, reudcing to 2 vs 3 cameras.
Samsung has teh resources and sales revenue to make the FE models more distinct than their flagship model lineup. Kind of worried what they'll do with the FOld 5 FE if that comes to fruition.
