To me a phone with pure android experience no bloatware UI is always better.
No bloatware so any user can install and use whathewer they like thats the only option. And if i have to live with some bloatware at least it must been deletable. Having two brownsers in phone after a first run is a no for me. Thats just an example.
Some stands for lot other apps.
Also to me a phone which gives lot more specs, much more accesories in box and cost less than a Samsung, Sony, Google or Apple equivalent is also a way better.

BUy anycheap chinese phone , u ... moreIf u buy a cheap chinese windows 10 laptop and upgrade to windows 11 . it will not have a single performance issue . but update a 300 dollar poco phone ui , the motherboard will die . poco makes cheap questionable product cz android has no standard. Except for google certified stock android phones . good thing samsung knows android and their in house exynos inside out . thats why updates are so frequent on samsung phone .

But i think google bringing some sense of descipline after android 12 . things like seamless upgrade program , small cpu iteration per year will make upgrade wxperience better ig . but spec zombies are not happy .

BUy anycheap chinese phone , u shall know how slow phone becomes . android will always become slow after upgrades unlike x86 platform os . its fact . thats because pc hardwares are regulated and drivers are readily available. But android after 15+ iteration is still a toy os . develooed to make the chinese rich . u may or may not notice them cz different skin regulates performance differently . some will kill all background service if u run geekbench, or play pubg so you can be happy with performance .

Android versions from 12 onward is not even a big upgrade each year. 13 and 14 could’ve been simply 12.1 and 12.2. So anything that runs even Android 10 well should be fine with Android 13 or 14.
Take users of Galaxy A52. It started with OneUI 3. Now it’s on OneUI5 and people don’t seem to be having issues with it.
