When a person is buying a new, expensive phone, he expects all of the features on that phone to work well, and that includes the camera. Imagine spending 1000+ dollars on a phone for the photos to come out blurry. Of course a dedicated camera will have better photo quality than a phone, but for most people phone cameras have gotten so good that it's good enough for them, and I strongly doubt that a $100 camera from 10 years ago will take better photos than a modern flagship phone, considering you could only get a small point and shoot for that price. Also, did you not know that a phone can take RAW photos? Your snobby, elitist attitude is extremely off-putting, as one does not need to be Ansel Adams or even own a dedicated camera to enjoy photography.

This is why its hilarious that people put so much effort into their phone cameras when a $100 dslr from over 10 years ago still takes better looking stills

mat, 13 Sep 2023most of these issues are related to screens made by samsungSamsung makes the majority of Oled/Amoled panels , so it is expected that their would be more cases of defects for samsung screens . Per Unit bases ,samsung might have the lowest issues that is why every premium phone uses samsung displays whereas mid rangers use other companies's displays.

Its hard to believe Samsung released phone with such a massive issue. And interesting thing is, many prople dont care, dont see or refuse to admit that their phone captures blurry photos.

Memory/RAM: Toshiba, Micron, SK Hynix, Kioxia
Oled: Sharp, LG, Boe etc
Screen is only thing from samsung currently. Memory and ram are not.
Iphones do not have isocell.

It's completely reasonable to ask another manufacturer who has the resources already to make the components themselves. People are bashing Apple for having to rely on some other manufacturer just like everyone else.

It's expected that within two years, iPhone production will have moved to Vietnam (plus India for their local market). This includes many suppliers, because manufacturers around the world remember how impossible it was to get goods out of China during COVID. Even raw materials will be sourced from elsewhere; the US just found the world's largest lithium deposits. China's days of global manufacturing dominance are over.

Apple knows people will go out of their way to use iphones anyway. contracting with BoE was already ongoing to save cost, and BoE already multiple times showed lack of QC and even do things outside Apple's spec (this is before the Chinese government news).
No, this is basically BoE having substandard quality, and Apple biting the bullet buying more from Samsung after Tim Cook being a cheapskate didn't workout.

Just to show how none of them are made in China. Funny thing is almost all raw materials of those parts mostly came from China and probably manufactured there as well.
