That 0.3mm less thickness compared to the A04s isn't going to help it in any ways, and 8.8mm is still way too thick for a 4000mAh battery.

    This is nothing but a quick cash grab phone, made by a generic ODM, that's gonna be too slow right out of the box, with a not very efficient SoC and a small battery, so even the battery life is going to be below average.

      Its more expensive to shrink the bezels, especially since it may require an interior redesign and fiddling with the screen
      At the scale of their midrange-entry level phones, their materials and components are really cheap, since they are ordering millions of them, so a consistent or even remarkably similar design language across their models is a cheaper solution going forward

            The frame lip around the display is very significant addition in engineering point of view .. Adds much needed protection to fragile display edge . the digitizer doesnt nerd to be gg 3 if the lip is there

                  Because this is the cheapest Samsung phone. This must have a price of 200 USD minimum, because it has better brand image than any chinese flagship.

                    The A04s is smaller in dimension with the same screen size. What's with this new trend of Samsung churning out chunky phones with growing bezels? A54, S23FE, A25, and now this? Clearly they're all from the same ODM.

                            This is premium Samsung Galaxy phone, with 10 years being marketleader , beautiful OneUI and with 30++ years cellphone manufacturing experience.

                              6.6 inch screen in a chassis that's almost the same size as the vivo X Note with a 7 inch display, but somehow they only managed to fit a 4000mAh battery into it.

                              Crazy. Anything over 100 usd and this will be overpriced, which is to say, it will definitely be overpriced.

                                So this A05s either have a lot of empty space in it or something. Even 5000mAh battery would be small for it's size to make sense
