Nokia Lumia 625 with 4.7" WVGA screen in the works?

08 May, 2013
The rumored phone  has a low-end model number, but a huge screen and the same chipset as the 920.

Anonymous, 08 May 2013Great, so now Nokia is reduced to just a WP OEM producing c... moreI don't know where you get the idea that Nokia is now reduced to cheap mass market phones when right there in the article it clearly states that Nokia, aside from the cheap 625, is set to announce the 928 and 925. Not in the article is the rumored EOS/Lumia 1000 with 41MP camera set to arrive towards the end of the year. Believe me, the 928, 925, and 1000 will not be cheap.

Like the 620, this falls right in the mid-to-low end category meant for emerging markets so I don't get why the article considers this odd. Nokia is simply bringing phones with bigger screens to their affordable range of devices which would be very welcome in developing countries.

According to my observation, the logo of the phone in the sample photo seems to contradict with the OS stated in the news. If the phone has WP8, then the logo shouldn't be that. Anyway, I'm looking forward. :)
