During the java era samsung was still a top producer of mobile, there came blackberry then iphone(blackberry wanna be) . People has already perfect iP13 and 14 series.. And less and less people will be buying new phones.. The enthusiasts who were buying phones every year is coming to an end.

Iphone is just status simbol. People run credit card debts to get it to impress others. Especially when Steve Jobs died, their sales went through the roof. It's uncomfortable to say but Steve's death gave them big profits

Even Chinese started buying iPhones in very large numbers, until their government decided to ban the use of iPhones.
And I am pretty sure if iPhones prices will be better in India, the Indian people will buy them in very large numbers as well.
From this 2 countries is almost 40% of the World population. Imagine if iPhones will not be restricted in this 2 countries (for various reasons, political or other). Those high sell numbers you see on iPhones will be even higher.

Using a flagship phone from 2020 does look and feel almost the same as a phone from 2023.
