Never, I mean never again a Sony-Smartphone. This is a shame. Most of the Sony-Phones have not the actual Android when they are avaiable. But never the less Sony needs much more time to update them, than other companies, like Samsung need. The Xperia Ion was my first Sony-Phone and it will be the last one... Back to HTC or Samsung.

This is great news, but I got my xperia s for the phone itself, I love the design and functionality, and I am extremely happy with it, the updates to me are a bonus that bring more new stuff and make the phone work better, but even if we didn't get jelly bean I would still keep my phone.

I cannot believe that a 2012 flagship Sony Xperia S is actually the last phone to get the Jelly bean update. Even the lousier Xperia P gets Jelly Bean update faster WTH !

AnonD-143484, 08 May 2013I use the ION, why is Sony treating ION users as outcasts??... moreI agree a 100 percent. I feel the same way... Wanted to stick by Sony as I am not really a Samsung fan but alas! These delays are annoying... Plus buying a flagship phone that's replaced within less then 3 months with Xperia T really upset me... :( I may be eyeing an S4 or an LG as a replacement.

                  Really disappionting news by SONY.
                  Its too late of JB.
People are expecting android 5.0(KAY LIME PIE) in future months and still you not rolled out JB.
I will not purchase sony handset henceforth. Will go for HTC.
In each HIGH END smartphone review SONY is always behind of htc n samsung in benchmark tests.

so disappointed at Sony, it take so long time after six month Jelly Bean announced, we, Sony user just can update our phone.
never take care of us and keep producing new smartphone and ignore the old users.
Sony make me believe? I think not.

Omg six months, these days every months count for a smarthphone.. Because every month your phone becomes obsolete and a year for a smartphone means ancient and fossil lol
