    We just have to wait and see how it looks with a flat panel, it already comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, there are already 2 points in its favor, a new or improved main sensor!! So how do you plan to continue with that processor toaster, at least Google give us a 10x periscope lens to compensate for that Soc that nobody wants... not even Samsung itself

        Fly Sheikh, 19 Sep 2023I'd prefer two generations of Snapdragon chip over shi... moreI don't deny that it overheats, but mine genuinely isn't all that bad, and it depends on specific scenarios like extended 4K video playback or on a really hot summer day. It's still suboptimal, but at least for me, it's possible to overlook thanks to the amazing cameras and the snappy launcher that has basically no bloatware. I do think though that Google's using less optimal chips that other manufacturers would have rejected when binning. Essentially, some chips that should fail binning are validated in order to cut costs, and this leads to the variation in how much and how often people's Pixel phones overheat. I think I got kind of lucky in that sense.

        Also, my theory could also extend to the slightly weaker Tensor G2 chips inside the Pixel 7a. They're probably chips that failed validation in a more significant way (overheats too much, or is somewhat less efficient than even the normal failed bins that would pass validation) so that costs are cut down yet again. I would recommend avoiding the Pixel 7a and just buying the Pixel 7, especially when certain places sell the Pixel 7a at 95% of the price of the Pixel 7, and at a significant discount too.

                    That is way i sold my Pixel 7 and bought Moto Edge 40 pro.
                    My brother has Poco F5 and i can only say that SD7+ Gen 2 is wonderful chip, i was amazed how fast and efficient it is.

                      I'd prefer two generations of Snapdragon chip over shitsor any day. It seems like another device that will overheat, and the fanboys will be quick to deny it. I'm currently steering clear of Google's hardware, hoping they'll eventually ditch Tensor chip in favor of Snapdragon.

                        Now that it is rumored that Samsung is abandoning the 10x zoom for the s24 ultra, Google should adopt it and position itself as the obsolete King of mobile photography

                          Can you imagine an universe where a modern Pixel is running the 7+ Gen 2? Or at least the Dimensity 8200?

                            Google should run a promotion "buy any Pixel, get a free Iobotomy". Because if you're buying that BS, you seriously need one
