But seriously, real battles are actually planned with battery life of various devices in mind, not sure why it's perplexing. That said I doubt it involves TWS or wired earphones for music listening or phonecalls over non-satelite networks.

And the security thing is not that important in case of war. Like anyone would shop on an alliexpress under heavy fire in some dug hole.

To all people talking without having knowledge about the matter let me explain !!
So the editions in general are the same as the normal versions except for certain software feature (but some can be installed easily on normal versions too) and warranty and replacement parts !
For the price, these devices in general cost less (yes i said less) than the normal edition, 1st because it's aimed at GOV and they do not pay VAT, and eventually these devices would cost compared to the regular version 100$ more but as i said if you remove 20% VAT from 799$ it getting accessible.
Also in France, as a French Air Force Commando, i was able to buy the S20 Tactical Edition in 2020, i only had to show my military ID.

the petit screen of the S23 will scratch up in no time, unless they have added a layer of screen protection which is far more rugged than the mighty gorilla glass! (which is pobably useless with rugged use)
