    Seen people (the author n some commentators ) make a russ about a the 'bezels' ,like c'mon ,is it going to impede or obscure your entire view ? I believe we the consumers are sometimes getting too spoilt,my unreserved opinion !

            Yes in fact, it was. You are misconstruing my words. I am not congratulating Apple for this "feat", all I'm saying is that Apple's direction is forward, even if it's just one centimeter forward. And with no steps backward. Don't get me wrong, I still hate Apple for not ditching 60hz and for prolonging the switch to notchless/hole-less displays.

            The 7a was also a budget phone and I'm pretty sure even that one had more slimmer bezels. To put it in perspective, the 8a may be the most thick-bezeled phone out of all modern budget phones. That's not a good image for Google, the maker of Android.

            They didn't take any steps behind. It's more like they stood still for a long time, not going forward nor backward. Google's direction is quite also stagnant, but this design (along with the P8 Pro) marks a step backward from their previous phones. I'm sure some may disagree, but that's the beauty of an opinion.

            To be clear, I have higher standards for Google than I have for Apple, because Google is (and should be) the antithesis of Apple, but so far they aren't looking like a good role model for Android. Maybe it's time that you stopped defending Google.

                            Can't wait to see it overheat with Google's iteration of crappynos and a miserable 60hz/90hz screen! All for the sake of a 100-200 dollar discount from the real deal! Pixel A series is rubbish hands down.
