I remember I commented in another article thinking which processor will be used on this phone. Exy850 will makes this phone slower than base A05 (makes something like A03 series happened again), while G85 makes it has the similar performance to A05 - but it has a bigger fabrication than Exy850. And this is the answer that solves the two problems I mentioned before. Nice!

          rizki1, 23 Sep 2023680 still use cortex A73 and A53.yup, I know. Still 4xA73/4xA53 is better than 8xA55 or 8xA53

Anonymous, 23 Sep 2023g90t is like 4 years old, is it better than 680?? wo... moreG90T is better than G80.
has a76 cores, better mali g76 4 core gpu, can record more resolutions up to 4k

LosEstupido, 23 Sep 2023This is because the G85 uses a better and newer Cortex Arch... moreg95 and g90t isn't being produced anymore sadly
they can put those chips if they are still being produced until today

rizki1, 23 Sep 2023680 means this will use UFS, not bad for a low end Samsung ... moreit would be more power efficient considering 6nm fabrication, with 720p display i bet it'll last more than a day.

was expecting unisoc t616, but ended up getting a bit better soc.

Good on Samsung for finally making A0x phones with decent specs.

680 means this will use UFS, not bad for a low end Samsung but other brands have used it years ago.

ashrobb, 23 Sep 2023Yeah I was thinking about that lol. Glad that era of 8 A55 ... more680 still use cortex A73 and A53.

i hope a05e release with single rear camera and small screen

SD 680 has more big cores and smaller fabrication.

Zero , 23 Sep 2023As long is not Helio P35 or Exynos 850, is alright.Yeah I was thinking about that lol. Glad that era of 8 A55 or A53 cores is ending even in the lowest tier.

I mean, they could've used the G95 or the G90T instead of the S680 to simulate an upgrade.

just thank goodness they're not using the outdated Exynos 850.

justasmile, 23 Sep 2023I mean, for a budget phone like this, a 680 should be fine.finally, a snapdragon chip, and a decent one at that.
                                      makes the lineup more diverse.
