Your logic is like a radio fan saying TVs aren't going to become popular because there's no user base. Or a nokia/blackberry user talking about touch screen phones, at a time when everone was using old button phones. Take your pick. 😁
I'd buy it because it's more portable. I don't want a case to enlarge an already big bezel. Double wide is unnecessary. Besides, a narrow bezel won't make it unusable. Just use a case if you have big fingers. Everyone can be accomodated which is what the companies are aiming for.

PS: I heard that Kirin 830 might perform like Snapdragon 865, that would be breaking. And is being rumored that the Kirin 720 might perform like Snapdragon 855.

It's a good one that huawei is back in the market despite the US restrictions of chips to break them down from competition yet they stood on their own self esteem to make a chip that can give competition to other smart phone like iPhone and Samsung. It's recommendable. I am a fan of huawei and I luv their product! I look towards getting one of the máte to my self.

Huawei should definitely push these 3:2 screens. The vertical real estate is REALLY useful, me using the Huawei Matebook X Pro with a similar screen. By the way, if you're concerned with the PPI, don't be. Unless you're nearsighted and have to press your nose against the screen, you won't notice the pixels.
This tablet seems good, but the price throws me off. Compared to the competition from Oneplus and Xiaomi, this tablet isn't exactly better, whilst being 100-200 euros more expensive. But it's decent, and good value against Samsung.

Don't take the thin bezels away if a quick fix can satisfy a larger customer base.
I'm excited about the weight. 580gr for 13.2in is fantastic.

Good when new, no OS updates at all.
bug here and the as apps updates where the UI / OS can't catch up to the app updates.

If Huawei can give the ability to hide the notch as they did with their phones, I can forgive it. I own a Mate 20, so I can vouch for it.
What really bothers me though is that slim bezel. Being a tablet, it's also going to be used in Portrait mode and having slim bezel is only going to give more accidental taps and touches. I really don't fathom this so-called "obsession" about having slim bezels. It's not going to make any significant difference to everyday use.
