Mr. Anonymous, 26 Sep 2023Rounded edges are for human hands, flat ones are for robots.Flat edges are better from engineering standpoint and also durable (iPhone 14 pro vs 15 pro proves this).
So phone should be more robust and cover should be used to get the curved frame. Best of both world.
And don't use phones without cover, they are machine not biological device.

Launch date doesnt cause any excitement, its the product... not sure if there will be changes to design. what new features will be introduced(if any). I remember good old days where I used to wait and watch the launch events which were so much fun for models like Galaxy S6,S8,S10. Iphone X, Lg V30, G6, Oneplus 7 Pro etc nowadays every phone looks the same. just the brand name differs.
