Usually for at least half the price of what Apple demands in its official stores or vendor stores. Probably mostly in poorer countries though. I fixed my wife's iPhone 12 at one such shop two years ago and it's still working great for about 45% of the asking price in an official vendor store.

              I suspected that a metal backplate from a glass back to the whole phone was the reason why this phone shatters easily.

                            they also don't like crappy chinese part makers intervening any longer,they can make iphone to not boot at all with non genuine display if they like

Is it purely just a glass back (which is impossible to check as it's not electrical), or is the glass panel a unit of both the glass and the coil (and in that case, technically the one being checked is the coil).

                              But obviously none of these "tech sites" will bother to check that.

                              Then repair wise, the question is, can those be separated.
