There's always a combination of badly optimized third party, using the phone while charging in full sunlight or a combination that leads to overheating. And that's something all highend phones can ”achieve” because there are tradeoffs between size, form and function that come before massive thermal solutions.
And, as always, if you're a gamer, buy a handheld console.

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2023Can't complain about mine so far. I've had no issues with the Pro Max so far. I've yet to run a demanding game on it though, but I've had it downloading and streaming and it's been cool.

The stability tests will be fun judging by the thermals. Last year iPhones had some issues too, this year it seems worse.

Actually feel a lot comfort to hold than my 14 pro when I compare direct to Apple store. Noticeable lighter too. I wish Apple pack more from 15 pro max into this smaller version next year. I don’t like max version just too large to handle.

They are the chip, the telephoto, the 120Hz display (and the Titanium which is the bonus that I like alum. or stains. more). The 15 Plus only got the batt.
