    whoah, looks like iphone.
hope apple won't sue this one :D

Had to try this one when available in my country later.
I just hope it's UI is fluid.
I never use Smarterphone OS before so I can't judge which one better, S40 or Smarterphone.

hope gsmarena give review of this asha 501 soon.

terter, 09 May 2013For me it’s the ideal second phone. It does everything you ... moremonth in laboratory environemnt, yes;) In real life dont think it will bed more than a week. But even this is more then enough however.

And please. ITS A FEATURE PHONE, not a smartphone. It is 99$, so it would be for 1$ in 10$ two years contract. Show me the phone that has all theese features for such a price. I would never buy this phone, right, but i target 800$ phones, not 99$. For all those, who don't like the idea of spending more than 10$ per month for phone this is a very good idea.

Nokia is doing good from last few months with WP8, Specially Lumia 520 is rocking in 10K range. It should bring Lumia dual-sim phones to catch more consumers. Honestly a high budget dual sim phone of Nokia will sale more than any other brand.
Asha 501 is looking like a great phone @ $99. Hope it will do well in market.

Impressive. Okay the display could be bigger but this is the number one feature phone in the world now.

AnonD-122191, 09 May 2013Wow! They didn't learn anything from Meego experience??? Co... moreIt's a phone interface, not some complex device, learning such interface won't take long time, but alas! people seems to hate learning new things, and "tech writers" enforce this idea that learning = bad! that the interface should be so easy that the user should know how to use it from the first touch.

Wow! They didn't learn anything from Meego experience??? Consumers generally don't take easily to new interfaces. Nokia so stubborn. Ok go with a new OS like this one but please skin it with the familiar Nokia interface! It will save all your current and past users from switching over to the top two.

Hey isn't this the 'high-end compact phone' GSMArena asked for? Lol

It's not bad for an Asha. Very cute and super versatile.
