According to PhoneRepairGuru, the iPhone 15 Pro and Max doesn't have the reinforcing metal plate on the back glass, Apple removed the thing that makes the iPhone 14 pro more durable than it's successor. No wonder why the repairs are cheap.
This is the saddest lose-lose outcome when they think the iPhone 15 standard is better than the pro. Imagine when they put 90hz display on the standard iPhone 15 and retain the reinforcing metal plate on the Pro to prevent the marketing mislead of the Pro because 'TiTaNiUm'...

justasmile, 28 Sep 2023While it is 60hz, apple's interface is extremely smoot... moreAs someone who owns an XR, used the 13, and owns two 90hz phones (OnePlus 7 Pro and Pixel 4) I can definitely tell the difference between 60hz and 90hz. It's less apparent in videos but it is very apparent in general UI, in my experience.

Tried to find someone else too who bend the 15 pro max and finally found another guy https://youtu.be/PmRnSYuX9XQ?si=ju7DoagDe0vO8K9W spoiler, he couldn't break the backscreen even if he really tried to do it.
Wouldn't be too worried about it, jerryrig is very strong guy and that test doesn't reflect to normal usage any way.

Better batter... moreIn standard iPhone 15, there is no proMode (aka variable refresh rate (1-120) like iPhone 14 pro or 14 pro max, No Always-on display, and No USB 3.0 support only pro and pro max. No optical zoom. Same A16 chipset. It's better to buy an iPhone 14 Pro or stick with your previous iPhone. Or buy a premium Android phone.

UltraHD, 27 Sep 2023Just like last year, i like base 15 models more than Pro... morePrecisely why they don't do it! They know the moment they put 90 or 120Hz in the vanilla models, most people will buy the cheaper models and they'd make less profit haha
They only will put high refresh rates on vanilla models once they have a new "tech appeal" in the pro models screen to show to you like, look at this amazing new thing (that you won't have if you go vanilla models) haha
PS: good ol trusty aluminum baby, yep

AnonD-512010, 28 Sep 2023The iPhone 15 is the better option this year. Better batter... more15 Pro is ideal; production cost was said to be around 450usd and so the retail-cost coeff for consumers is still considered 'fair' on the otherwise said for the Pro Max, even they mentioned 'Titanium' for its metal encasement which is the main issue why the glass cracks so easily (or maybe they want user to create their own unique glass crack pattern as a phone design....lol)
