Orangutan, 02 Oct 2023I don't know why people are complaining about exynos b... moreI dare you to run a game on those phones. Don't cry if they spontaneously combust.

Will AI 5G be added to Tensor 3 for the modem as 8 gen 2

Ouifuf, 02 Oct 2023I usually like their design tbh. Just the 8 pro that's... moreThat's exactly how I feel. P8 is cute, P8 Pro looks a bit gross.

I wanted Pixel 7 Pro 256GB in white. The issue of it being literally unobtainable for months (or obtainable for ridiculous price) made me not opt for it in the end and I just waited for Galaxy S23 Ultra, which I not only got without any issues right after launch, I actually got it in white and for rather ridiculous price (still expensive) and it's a 12GB RAM 512GB storage version. I don't even need these extras, but for the price and considering I'm planning on using it for many years, it was well played on Samsung's side and badly on Google's. Ironically, Pixels are made by Samsung for Google. The fact Pixel 7 Pro 256GB still costs pretty much the same as it did back then, what the hell? Unless they'll drop the price only when Pixel 8 comes out. Not sure if Google has that kind of premium leverage as Apple has to only do it then...

I don't know why people are complaining about exynos being hot or being slowed down I don't have that issue with my s10+ and s22 so I think google went for Samsung since the have expertise in this field and then google could at least do whatever they want with it.

Issamoney, 02 Oct 2023The Ugliest camera layout. I wondered who are the designers... moreI usually like their design tbh. Just the 8 pro that's just really ugly lol

there is no white color like in the renders:( high price 750$, poor pre-order availability it’s sad on Amazon 7 pixel 700$ 😶 even lol

I've seen my next phone, just hope the battery life will be better

[deleted post]What, does your uncle work at Google? Upload of a photo to prove that you ain't lying. Samsung exynos had been running hot for the past 10 years. You can hire every single PHD holder from Harvard and MIT and use an entire country's GDP and you still won't be able to fix Exynos.

everyone here is still whining about the G3, but the real news is that there's no upgrades main sensor. Still the same sensor as the Pixel 6/7.

Pixel users generally don't care about cpu performance. They just want a good camera and AI assistant features. Midrange performance is fine.

But now, the camera is getting old, the competition is getting better, so the camera performance is becoming mid-range too. And there's a price increase. 8 series is a terrible generation.

No heating issues or anything. Only thing you Apple fanboys can do now is to cry about your A17 pro failed 3nm manufacturing process. Tell this to TSMC too. This year Samsung foundry and Google nailed it. 🏆
