Anal, 02 Oct 2023Good! Fed up of the outdated SKY tv here in the UK.First of all, this is most likely nonsense. The source isn't a real magazine. Second of all, Sky has a deal until 2029. Hate Sky as much as we like for their exorbitant subscription fees, they are the ones who dragged F1 to the massive profit franchise it is today with their all-days coverage of race weekends.

I doubt they'd remove comments criticising capitaIism though

As long as I can watch F1 through F1 TV Pro I'm ok. Here one already needs a subscription on Viaplay and I really don't bother to pay that much monthly if I only want to see F1.

Lol, 02 Oct 2023Gues the US is quickly becoming UARS (United Apple Socialis... moreHow is any of that socialist? Socialism has lots of inherent flaws, but this isn't one of them. Socialism is not when you don't like something. It has everything to do with redistributing income, so in essence a welfare state is a socialistic principle. Almost all western governments, in that sense, have at least a little bit of socialism. Pure socialism tends to be rare (because in this day and age it doesn't tend to work with globalisation), and it would have nothing to do with allowing Apple to make exclusivity deals to stream Formula 1 races.

why not make a team? Apple Racing Team.
Red Bull's dominance is very strong this season, making it very boring.

Never heard of that "Magazine". A Google search seems to date it at less than a year since it was founded. Did Apple literally create a fake magazine in a way to try manipulate FIA on this?
