Even Steve Jobs had multiple units of the OG iphone so his presentation will not be interrupted when one unit overheats and hangs up.

the things is the problem happen with iphone15, not with other phones(at least there no report whatsoever)
otherwise bosch or whoever make the charger should already respond or even probably fix their product

so rather coincidental bad-luck streak with iphone15 or its caused by iphone15 changing the wireless-coil, we have yet to wait for more information regarding the matter

but i dont think whoever make wireless charger will take responsbility for the problem, as long no massive problem aside from one specific phone model/lineup
in such case, the best they will do is just make announcement notice, not to use the charger with those specific phones

UltraHD, 03 Oct 2023What the f did they do with these phones to act this way...... moreThere’s a reason why Apple is somehow the highest valued tech company and highest valued phone maker despite the world mostly using android….

                  Apple is fooling EVERYONE

It's more likely a Bosch charger so it's probably widespread.
I'm honestly surprised that it took so long for this to happen. Wireless chargers put out 2.5 VAC per turn of conductor. That's a lot. Anything that conducts power in a circle gets that power. There's a special circuit in the charger that's to guess if it's cooking some random piece of metal (coin, foil) that's in the way and shut down. Then there's the next problem of inductive coupling. Once you put power into an inductor, it must always come back out one way or another - EM radiation, electric arcing, circuit destruction, whatever. If the phone cuts its load before the charger cuts its output, there's extra power to go somewhere.
Hopefully it's caught by a snubber circuit that turns excess EM power into heat. If not, there's always the battery packaging, RF shielding, and NFC antenna to take the hit.
