In India the base Pixel 8 model with 128 GB is retailing for more than 910 USD and they only give you paltry "discounts" on the buds/watch if you buy it together with the phone :D

But Pixel 8 price is lower then Pixel 8 Pro too so the trade in credit cap makes sense to be lower too. Even tough the credit cap is still crazy high.
You probably get more money when you sell your trade in device and get more money in the first day then you get the price down with trade in. 1-2 year old pixel used probably cost more then 50-150 dollars that is that trade in credit cap
What is the bundle cost and what is the phone cost without the "free" buds or watch?
One of my friends buy S22 over a year ago for 849 euro and was happy to get free watch with it while he didnt understand that S22 without the "free" watch was going around 700-750 euro range. So the watch or bods are not actually free as it's still buy 2 items for a price of one. It's the fooling method of marketing where they use discount or free the 2 words that affect human brain the most that makes it easy to fool and manipulate to buy there product. Also there is a high chance for mandatory 2 years contract for unlimited internet so it's one of the highest cost contract from the carriers.
And your locked for 2 years in a contract where you in most cases dont use even 10% of it's cost. Wasting money a lot. Even now when i have 15GB data contract with unlimited calls and sms for 12 euro a month. I maybe use like 500mb a month cause my phone mostly is in some wifi network. But it's good to have as you never know what future holds so at least can use mobile internet for some trips out of the city. I use to have only 500mb data for a month for 10 euro and it made no sense that it was same for like 10 years on there own website as the lowest data package So it needs to be under table contract from customer service to get your better deal that you cant get from there site.
