"This keyboard will make your iPad look more like a laptop..."
Call me back when Apple put macOS on M-powered iPads. Until that happens, I stick with my Microsoft Surface Pro 8 tablet.

Given that they may jack up the price.
Given that there may not be much changes on ipad base.
Given that ipad may not support latest apple pencil. Given that the storage will still be 64gb for base model.
No thanks

As a person who uses android, MacOS, iOS, iPadOS, Win10, Win11 & Linux distros devices for work/personal requirements I feel the cringe, like you wouldn't believe it, when I see sheeple spew self-righteous talking points while being totally clueless about what a PITA apple's ecosystem is when it comes to simple things like transferring files, setting up separate user accounts, unnecessary need for mandatory accessory bloat, etc. Don't put your foot in your mouth.

Apple build quality on iPad’s is now absolutely terrible, it’s like they don’t care about the product anymore, they just want to sell iPhones. The Mini had jelly scrolling and the last iPad Air had terrible build problems, Google “iPad Air Build Quality”.

iPad mini, please give it 120hz refresh rate, its nuts not to have it in late 2023, and given the price of the mini it really should have a better display, it isnt terrible at all, but the current one suffers, no excuse not to have it really.

Anonymous, 06 Oct 2023A phone is a phone is a phone... they all have cameras, pla... moreThat's what normally Android users do.
One, their phone is cheap.
Two, their phone slows down to a hog in less than a year.. Either due to rouge app, or malware.
Three, their OS updates are lacking... every year they hope their phone gets supported or dropped.. get hate.. move to another maker.. and repeat the same cycle.
iOS normally last for 5 years or more. As for iPadOS it last even longer. That's why normally you see iOS / iPad users skip iterations.

I'm hoping for an iPad under $500, with an A16 or better, USB-C, and 128GB or more of storage. I think these are realistic things to hope for.
Of course I'd prefer a headphone jack but that's not happening. This is a much bigger concern for me on Apple devices because there is no quick way to toggle Bluetooth without it automatically retoggling on in iOS, and will constantly connect/disconnect from my Bluetooth headphones when using them with my Android phone, interrupting the music constantly.

With Apple's very weird pricing scheme, a decked-out 11-inch iPad Pro with M2 is cheaper than an iPhone 15 Pro with the base 128 GB storage.
The very weird 10th-gen iPad is only there to bridge the gap between the cheap 9th-gen iPad and the iPad Air, which in turn pushes you towards the iPad Pro as the only tablet that offers the most features for the price (until you remember that it runs off iPadOS and that it cannot do anything more than the lower-priced models).
The iPad Mini is priced like a mini Air, without the M1 chip.
Overall, it's confusing and none of the current models are good purchases.

Jman, 06 Oct 2023It doesn’t seem that long ago since we got the last iPad Pr... moreA phone is a phone is a phone... they all have cameras, play music and connect to the internet... plus have that amazing ability to make and receive phone calls.
All Apple is doing is tweaking the spec a bit and calling it the 'next generation phone' so that they can maintain the cycle of at least some users buying 'this year's model' and junking their old 12 or 18 month old model which is, of course, perfectly OK. This allows Apple to maintain an all important income stream to boost their bottom line.
God forbit that customers should realise that any mobile is good for at least four or five years use and not keep on buying a new one every year.
