Here's a good question for this hardware?
1. How many GPU cores does the Xclipse 940 GPU have?
2. It says it supports raytracing. Is it hardware raytracing or a software raytracing?
3. Based on Samsung Yt explanation on Exynos 2400. There was no explanation on how it will perform when it comes to gaming. What's the use of getting one?
4. Since they've announced the released of Exynos 2400. How come samsung is not getting any developers to make games on their smartphones? Resident Evil Village, RE4 Remake, Death Stranding, and assassins creed Mirage are coming to iphone 15 pros and Ipados with m1 processor and above. Meanwhile. No announcement for the android! And
5. How much heat does it produce while gaming?

Desktop mode is a must for geeks like us I agree with you. But %99 of the population have no idea about these technical stuff and they are happy with their mobile phones, using them just for social media and photography only.

Onanymaus, 07 Oct 2023I dont want to jump the gun about TSMC's 3nm process, ... moreIt's been the case since way back when. Take the Apple A9. Apple sourced it to both Samsung 14nm and TSMC 16nm. Lo and behold, TSMC 16nm is more efficient than Samsung 14nm.
Samsung fabs just sucks. Whatever the chip design, it will result in suboptimal product. Take the SD8gen1. Simply switching to TSMC with the SD8+gen1 and we have a much better chip.

But we are here in a tech forum, under an article about Samsung boasting how much its Exynos 2400 better than the 2200. Obviously the discussion will be about performance and benchmarks.

Lee 8V88, 07 Oct 2023Too many people get hung up on benchmark scores. They'... moreBenchmark scores are nothing if you can't utilize them as proper mobile productivity gear. Even today, only Samsung, Huawei, Honor, LG, and Motorola develop their own Desktop Mode for their flagship phones (except for LG's upper-midrange Velvet 5G and Wing 5G). I didn't use my Windows laptop much when I started using Samsung DeX, Huawei EMUI Desktop, and LG Screen+. Watch any indie tech YouTubers who extensively talk about Android Desktop Mode, such as Juan Bagnell and TK Bay, to name just two, and you can see just how crazy powerful modern smartphones of today are. It can easily be the only computer average consumers ever need.

Too many people get hung up on benchmark scores. They're numbers that most people will never actually realise.
It's similar to saying a Porsche 911 is better than a Nissan Leaf cause it can do 185+ mph but in reality, who will actually ever drive at that speed...?

What for faster CPU? at the end heat will force slow down or in exy2200 freeze.
Just ensure good battery life as longs as software update or backbto removeable battery, bananagate free

Samsung has a bad history at creating efficient chipsets. All that I ask from Samsung is to create a chipset that is efficient in handling battery life. It should also not throttle while gaming. For example, although mediatek 8200 is not as fast as flagship chipset. But it is very efficient. That is all I want from Samsung. (Efficency and throttle management).
