AnonD-77443, 12 May 2013Lumias are hardly good looking devices, thin them down and ... moreI really don't see nothing wrong with Lumia's thickness, design and heaviness (i would give anything for a Symbian device looking like that). Quality means heavy, crap means lightweight. In fact, for me (and this should be for everyone) the build quality does not come from a 0,5 mm thick device. It is useless to use 0,5 think polycarbonate plastic that bend's like a child's toy. I need quality and resistance, not a paper weight device that breaks into my pocket when i bend over. The Lumia devices and not only, cause all premium Nokia devices are made from premium material, feel solid and trustful. You can count on them to resist in time and to look as good as new even after rough use. Nokia cannot use crap for their highend devices. That will destroy their reputation of best hardware at a good price. And also, that would destroy one of the big reasons of why i like Nokia.

AnonD-61316, 12 May 2013Android will always be a buggy os....no matter how much ram... moreYou may be right for those low end/mid range Android OS based smartphone because those manufacturers did not fully optimize the OS especially those makers from Asia.
If you were compared the Google Nexus 4 with Lumia 920 or iPhone 5, you can see it is buttery smooth because it was optimized by Google Firmware/Software engineers.

I have a win-win suggestion for NOKIA.
Create a totally new smartphone company or else acquire an existing small smartphone company especially from China.
Transfer the Lumia technologies & know how into this new company and release a powerful smartphone that run on Android OS. In addition, this company can also offer other OS such as Firefox..etc.
So Nokia has control in both window based phone and the Android phone.

AnonD-59657, 12 May 2013Even Lumia 928, 938, 948, 958...without Android OS, they wi... moreThey fail cause there is name they cannot beat: Nokia. When they were using symbian, nokia was always on Top. Now they took the bull by the horns and abandoned symbian to go for android and also to get Nokia of their back. So they can make crap and sell it to. They knew nokia will never adopt android cause they were and still are, the kings of symbian, so they took a good decision for their crappy devices. To adopt a new system and promote it to the full. Now they thought that Nokia quality and brand dissapeared from the market and wanted to attack it's market share with their windows crap. They understood quite quickly that the Nokia wall is there and they have no chance introducing their crap in a market that's making money only cause there is Nokia.;)

I find Windows Phone 8 to be a very good OS. Nice UI very fast. What more can a user want. You can keep cranking up the hardware. It is nice to know what the human mind can achieve, but at the end of the day it is just a phone.

Never ever compare mobile OS's.... They have their own strengths and weaknesses. Don't under estimate the capabilities of every OS. Manufacturers spend so many days and nights just to come up with this technology. I admire this Lumia 928. Its beautiful. Im impressed because nokia put an effort to atleast embeed a xenon flash on a mobile phone. Great job nokia!

Hello!
I come from the Luminary (L920)...I want to say that I have a big thumbs ups for Nokia's big sized up screen, beautifully beefed up specifications, durability and most superior lineage of phones.
I promised to buy L928...and I am buying it immediately...the battery looks impressive with 80 hours music playback.
I'm a cameraddict...so xenon-pureview-carl Zeis optics will do wonders for me.
Until then, I will give my 920 a run for her money,.,.

AnonD-61316, 12 May 2013Well ..u know people want the best of both worlds...everyon... moreindeed...much more, very few users of samsung sgs 3 or sgs 4 take to the limit their device with strong games or crazy internet browsing and know all the settings, the gimmicks, all the hidden corners of crowded android. 90% of users are very limited: they stay on facebook, play stupid angry birds or candy crash or make some stupid photos sometimes. i owned all possible models except blackberry and i can tell you that android is very complicated and wp8 is for sure better then ios from many points of view
