Vanilla iPhone 16 getting A17 chip is a given. The thing is, is it getting the A17 Pro. Do take note Apple gave it the Pro naming. So meaning the A17 on the iPhone 16 Vanilla most probably can't play the "3A Console Quality Games"

5G modem: Qualcomm Apple new 3 year deal, recently signed.
Qualcomm hold 2 patents expiring in 2029 and 2030 that prevents Apple from launching its own 5G modem in 2025. Et Al.

This doesn't make Apple catch up properly. Their periscope telephoto is tiny, and it does not have a high resolution either, so it struggles at zoom ranges higher than 5×. These are the phones that implement 5× zoom correctly:
•Google Pixel 7 Pro - 48MP (Quad Bayer), 1/2.55"-type
•Google Pixel 8 Pro - 48MP (Quad Bayer), 1/2.55"-type
•Xiaomi 13 Ultra - 50MP (Quad Bayer), 1/2.51"-type
As you can see, this isn't a lot, but then again, Apple's own device costs a lot, and only the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is near that one's price. Even then, the Xiaomi packs another telephoto, this time not periscope-style and at 3.2× zoom instead, so that you can also get better portrait shots. It also has a much better and much larger main sensor.
Apple needs to use a 1/2.5"-type 48MP sensor for its 5× zoom periscope telephoto. They also need to have a 1/1.7"-type (or larger, we've seen Oppo use the main sensor also for the ultrawide before) 48MP ultrawide, and both the ultrawide *and* the telephoto needs to have macro capability. If Apple added macro for their telephoto, then they would normalise what has only so far been done by Huawei, and they would be ahead of the curve. The increased resolution also really helps macro for both the ultrawide and the telephoto, and they could really drive home the improvements on their macro game when announcing the phone. They could really market the feature and actually sell well.

Why whenever WiFi 7 is me... moreCan you be a bit more specific? Lol. What exactly are you using it for? "Superfast home networking" is the marketing term of all marketing term. It means nothing but sounds cool.
Only real world usage case I can think of is prob for businesses that need a quick local connection but for some unknown reason cannot use cables.

what the phone storage capacity nowdays? 2TB max? or more ?
why people always think about the internet is because obviously majority of people use their wifi to internet rather than to LAN
like social networking, youtube/VOD-streams, gaming browsing, etc.
beside wifi7 specs not even finalize, it still in draft specs
its expected for finalize+release in 2024, so then networking device with that standard
how many people urging to get wifi7 early?
dont get me wrong, there nothing wrong with providing wifi7 support, its always good things to support latest-tech
but if we talking the importance, i dont think it should put it on top list, as there way to less people fully use it
