Don't care as this device will probably have a price tag above 300 USD.

Cpt.Power, 14 Oct 2023SD888 for what??? For using your charging or gaming phone a... moreTrue. Samsung is cheating public by giving this phone with 888.

In Romania was a fail phone. Sometimes went wrong with it, slow device with a hight price. Never see one in public. More like A01 FE

This is most highest recent ex-flagship chip ever used in a Samsung mid-range. Last one was the Quantum 2 which used Snapdragon 855+

I hope it's like that one because the QHD screen and other stuff in general on the Quantum 2 were very nice

Wise choice on the chip (if true). A 2-year-old ex-flagship chip is only mid-ranger equivalent nowadays and cannot be used on any high end phone for now. Also given the low efficiency of the S888, it has to be underclocked to current mid-midrange (yes the middle of mid-range) level in order to not overheat. Hope Samsung can maintain similar pricing as the M42

but maybe Samsung realized it was a mistake so they didnt continue the trend since a couple years until now.

                            Anonymous, 14 Oct 2023Notch 🤢That's M42, silly bro

If it's really getting Snapdragon 888, at least call it the M64, make it the successor to M62.

Well, that's kind of a strange choice, but for Samsung it makes sense, as they likely still have some of those chipsets just lying around and as hot as the 888 can get, it's still much better than midrange Exynos chipsets.
