Seems like the 14700K is the one to go for.

MakeMotoBetterAgain, 16 Oct 2023everyone is on 4nm going to 3nm while intel is still on 10nm lmaoyeah but is not that big difference on real life as it is on paper.
ryzen 7590x with a score of 63334 points in benchmark while i9-13900KS has 61861 points
but when comparing consumption ryzen is rated on 170w and intel on 150w.
You'd expect ryzen to run with less electricity sine is on 5nm - vs 10nm but you can see they are pretty much on pair , i9-13900K is even rated at just 125w for slightly less power.

[deleted post]Nah bro, I'm just speaking facts, you're just an apple hater who can't accept such.

ryzen consumes more wattage while doing same heavy task, don't compare AMD's idle to Intel's boost watt use

well they did say it was raptor lake refresh gotta wait for meteor lake

Nothing really beats the Apple chipsets in power efficiency, really.

Mediatek sux, 17 Oct 2023In what? Density? Power efficiency? Source?x86-64 chips are different than arm chips. What sshock is trying to say here is true. Intel's x86-64 10nm is equivalent to arm's 4nm.
And if you are asking in which area they are comparable, it is performance. Desktop processors are never designed to be most power efficient, they are designed for performance because they work on direct power supply, not on battery. Saving power is not a priority here.
