Weekly poll results: the Oppo Find N3 Flip is a good but pricey foldable

22 October 2023
Some want it, others say it costs too much and then there are those in the middle - they can hop on either side of the fence, depending on whether the reviews are positive.

As long as all any and every foldable comes with nail scratchable main screen a screen protector that is easy to peel off and destroys whole device and a laughable specs especially endurance for a tablet size phone with worse battery i will always says no.
Lastly who needs a 2000 eur phone if even something like Poco F5 pro, Oneplus Ace 2 or Motorola edge 40 pro for example will do same or simmilar tricks for half or less than half the price, runs any app equally smooth and will come with much more durability for a main screen.

Now everything is cheap, SSD is cheap, screen is cheap, RAM is cheap and even has a lifetime warranty. That's just Samsung wanting to keep the price high, look at their latest A05s selling for $200 with eMMC?

GSMArena has reviewed all of them, the screen has very good contrast, accurate and bright. There has been used for hundreds of millions, why would BOE, Tiamna or other Chinese screens become bad on flagship?

they are not your average screen anymore if they are that big.

It’s hardly any cheaper than Samsung. When you are at price parity, brand trustworthiness become important to consumers. People who have that kind of money would prefer sporting the Samsung brand than Oppo. Plus you get better panel and software support. I mean for about the same amount of money, would you prefer top of the line Samsung panel or 3rd rate BoE panel?

Good attempt from Oppo though. Hopefully they will push better in software support and reliability.

Here in Malaysia though, the Oppo cost less than the Samsung. MYR 100 (~$20) difference might not sound much, but even I can admit that the Oppo has better hardware than the Samsung.

The main competitor of the 8 gen 2 has to be the dimensity 9200+ I guess.

It's indeed pricey. Would've preferred it to be $1199 instead, due to that slightly underperforming chipset.
