Google Chrome is getting five big address bar updates

Well chrome aint bad but i prefer opera brownser far more than chrome.
Then for a cell phone i use adblock brownser because its way better than chrome where you cant turn off any adds. And for PC version i am happily TOR brownser user since a very long time.
Among like 20 different brownsers i were using in past there isnt anything like TOR and there isnt anything better.

I keep 2 web browsers in my android mobile.
1st is google chrome for all high end activities to access internet and have a decent web browsing experience.
2nd is opera mini for highest data saving, ad blocking etc. So that if i ever face poor network issuses then i use that.
On my desktop i have 4 browsers but i rarely use other browsers on that exept chrome and brave.

They made it not work in its browser, decided not to develop their app for the platform and sent takedown notice for the Microsoft developed app, essentially forcing people to move away from the platform.

Edge on Desktop and Opera on mobile. No complaints. Abandoned Chrome a year ago too slow

Not sure if Google Docs was crippled like that, or if it's just grossly unoptimized. I'm surprised this hasn't come up in the antitrust trial yet.

Still waiting for the day Google gets broken up.

Anonymous, 19 Oct 2023Floorp is better than this poisonous metal spyware.absolutely, any firefox fork is better since google try so hard to push anyone to stop using adblok. fortunately, brave, vivaldi, even opera are there to stop that thing. unfortunately, slimjet and edge couldn't stop it since the built-in adblock there is easy to detect by google (especially on youtube)

and by the "most used web browser on Earth", because google added chrome to android, when each android vendor has their own web browser, chrome is there and no one talk about it as a bloatware.

No complaints. After all, vast majority of people are supposed to be of average intelligence, so why shouldn't they be helped in every minute matter. Good for them.
Of course, I don't use Chrome, I use Mozilla so....

I stopped using Chrome on mobile just because of its stupid address bar behavior. Editing a typo after submitting is like going through 4 steps just to get it into edit mode. They should first fix their address bar before introducing these auto complete features.
