You can have an opinion about everything but not support it. In fact, having an opinion about a subject means you analyzed it, thought about it.
What i said in no way suggests i support it. You're just trying too hard to make it seem like i support it. No i don't. BUT, in my opinion, again, that's the way it is yes. It's capitalism, sorry, we live in it. Companies always try go grow, make more profit, expand. It's ok if you don't like or don't agree.
Just don't try to push others saying they support it just because they said what they think about it. Jeez...

They could fired some workers a... moreFiring more people doesn't put more money in share holders pockets. They'll save a bit from cutting jobs but by doing that the company will also get smaller, contract instead of expand. And they'll have other problems like being in the news for the bad reasons, bad rep etc and the big bosses don't want that.
The ultimate goal is always to expand and to make more revenue.

Globally smartphone markets declined. It's a little worse for Android than its for Apple.
Smartphone makers should aim for Super Flagship Models once every 2-3 years, with much better tech. Smartphone Photography has almost Plateaud in the last 3 years, with only minor improvements. Even SoC improvements aren't as drastic except very few SoCs. Every 3 years Smartphone makers should bring about a SUPER Flagship that brings about a huge generational leap.

43 million units are decent as if each unit priced 100 USD then 4.3 billion USD is the market and if each unit priced 1000 USD then 43 billion USD is the overall market just in 1 quarter.
4 quarter can generate close to 200 billion USD market, that is only india.
Who knows what are the numbers for the globe!

Doesn't mean oth... moreI don't want to offend you but i am still asking you - how often do you buy new tv, new refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, aqua guard, desktop and many other things which i am not mentioning?
Just compare that and that's it.
You will find if you change your phone within 5 year, then you are wasting money which you have plenty amount to spend.
Just try to visit africa and see those people who can't buy a 100 USD device and those who buy how they use those for such long years.
I think then you will understand what people like them feel.
If anyone thinks that their 1000 USD phone is precious and make them premium, i believe those who made that device are more premium cause they probably earn between 100 - 200 USD per month to survive till the next month.

Oh noo...big companies will milk less wallets and have to compensate their loss...how sad...

Let's see simple examples how big corpo's along with smaller businesses can compensate their losses of which they're inflicting themselves, on themselves...
yet drop the blame on consumers just because "we're not buying the recycled trash" they call "THE NEW EPIC"
1.Thousands of networked devices, like monitors, pc's, tv's and printers in offices running 24/7, even in standby which waste electricity when they should be automatically shutdown after business hrs.
2. Lighting - plenty of office buildings / tall towers have lights running non-stop.
3. Payment terminals such as touch screen cash registers running continuously even when restaurants and shops are closed.
Easy as abc savings but unfortunately logic isn't everywhere.

Easy, one of the options is, pay to use specific services. Some are already doing that and Google for example with Pixel 8/Pro users uploading the videos to the cloud servers so they have better quality. That and other options/features i bet will be paid in the near future! I see where they're going, pay for software features and services haha
