I think no one is trying to bother about the kind of battery such a huge screen is going to eat up! Also dont forget, its a touch screen- so more battery consumption + 3G- even more battery consumption....If this phone has to stay in the market, Nokia needs to come up with atleast 1500 mAH battery for this...else..its just a dummy!

Did you know Nokia has sold 12 million+ N95's. I repeat Nokia sells nearly half a billion phones every year. You can't even call the iPhone just one handset because the original iPhone and the successor is the iPhone 3G. Nokia has successors like the N73 --> N78, E61 --> E71 etc. but we don't count them as one phone! It's just the Apple marketing brainwashes people i.e. It's still called an iPhone. They will probably release another iPhone next year and so and so on... Do we still count them as one phone? NO, because the 1st generation iPhone will be quite different to say the 5th generation iPhone.
To make up half a billion per year they sell millions of each model. You do the maths...

1-iphone (dead)
2-iphone 3G (dead)
3-HTC shift (not something you want to carry around every were)

Why you comparing it to N85 ?
The only one price i found is ~400Eur or less... I dont think it will be as expensive as n85... Hope... :D

Zees, 29 Sep 200816M colour screens are out for quite long now. No improvement.To someone coming from WinMo it IS new. IMHO that color debate is nothing but a hype, the difference is quite minor. That XpressMusic device looks gorgeous tho, I hope we will see a comparative review against Touch HD!

This phone is gonna be daamn expensive for some of us :( Its compared wit the n85 and touchscreen + new design is gona make it so much expensive
I think nokia didn't make a high end device because then nobody will be able to afford it

Not a bad looking phone but noticed that the controls are all "soft keys"??
WTF??! Is Nokia kidding??!! It's a music phone so why aren't the controls on the OUTSIDE with physical keys??! Where's the volume control?
Nokia copied the iTouch! Even the newer iTouch 2.0 finally has the volume switch outside!
What a waste!!

Im happy that nokia has opted 4 a upper mid-range phone rather a high end 1.Coz not every can have a n96 or n95.Most of us use the mid-range phones.So,thanx nokia.
