But it still don't have the ability to save chats in the cloud, unlike Telegram. If you change to a new phone, you always have to backup all WhatsApp chats to Google Drive first, or else you lose all the chats.

Don't use WhatsApp because have Google Analytics tracker and Metadata is not protected and Meta (Facebook ) have access to extracting data from your phone .
It's worst App.
Use only independent App. Signal non profit organization or Threema Switzerland .

Even if both accounts are on 2 different phones on cellular, you're still geo located within the same area by the carrier.
If you're so paranoid, why are you using whatsapp to begin with?

potato4k, 20 Oct 2023People who would use this feature would've already had... moreAgain you're missing the point, I'm using WhatsApp Business as well but does Meta have access to my MAC or IMEI to determine that those 2 numbers belong to the exact same person? No. But logging those 2 numbers on the same app gets the job done.
