Is it true that these features are more important than adding basic functionalities such as separate volume control for music, ringtone and alert, Scheduling email sync etc..

That's why they are bu... moreactually most phones do have a built in radio receiver. i have a nokia 5233, which "does not" have a built in radio receiver (as per the specifications), but i can still use the radio with just about any pair of earphones. (i have a pair of skullcandy earphones and yes the radio works with it too!!)
try it with your phone too if u want!

tell me how many people bought this ph... moreOf course no one has bought it for the FM radio but there are some people who would choose not to buy it because it doesn't have an FM radio and, let's face it, Nokia can't afford to alienate even a small percentage of its potential customer base. I often listen to the radio during my commute so a radio is a must have for me. If they get FM radio support then, suddenly, Nokias will make my shortlist whereas some big players on other platforms (such as the Nexus 4) won't.
I find it sad that a couple of years ago Nokia were routinely putting FM transmitters in their phones and now, thanks to Microsoft. they aren't even able to get their FM receivers to work. :-(

Wow! FM radio with this editon. No smartphone has FM radio! Good for Windows to be the first smartphone with built-in FM radio. Microsoft is a genius to come up with FM radio in a smartphone!

tell me how many people bought this phone for FM radio? don't be pathetic!
another argument some bring is the specs. I have L920 and this phone gets better with the time unlike some other phones on different platforms.

Windows Phone devices are getting better and better. The reason behind this is ..... NOKIA. Now can also expact internal File Manager for Windows Devices. More and more software updates are coming but we really need a File Manager.

Waaah? Why does the 620 not have the hardware for FM Radio? And does this mean the 'lower' spec'd 520 does have the tech for it? How disappointing. I was going to pick up the 620 in a couple days but now I don't know. And they don't offer the 720 (which I think is overall better) here on an official carrier.
