Sup... moreChinese suppliers are notorious in downgrading specifications behind your back so they can get more profits. Just look at how BoE tried cheating on Apple and got caught. I mean that's on a huge contract, with Apple. Imagine what they would do on their lesser contracts with lesser OEMs.

Suppliers make parts according to specifications given by Samsung. Samsung also share responsibility to conduct tests on the parts before putting it into their products.

        So, if batteries from China is worse then it means Samsung didnt conduct enough tests to ensure quality of the batteries. Another possibility is Samsung knew and still use the worse batteries to cut cost. Either way, Samsung is more responsible for the poor quality than suppliers.

              I hope those battery suppliers can make good enough batteries. I had an S21 FE and it with battery from two different battery suppliers. One was Samsung SDI, other was a Chinese company. S21 FE with Chinese made battery had problems with battery life and the battery degraded more quickly. S21 FE with Samsung SDI battery had better battery life.

                  Nice to see that move from the Chinese suppliers. It's is a very bad situation when there are a lot of components for batteries made in just one country (you know it's name).
