Even some (small amount of) people bought a Xiaomi only because of it's unlockable bootloader capability lmao, which is kinda rare nowadays.

                      It is HyperOS from xiaomi.

The first OS with fastest Pop UP ads ever.

With 16GB of RAM, you can get multiple pop up ads and playing games on the same time. Now you will never miss the latest pop up ads again.

Such breaktrough innovation. Coming soon in 2023.

Putting unnecessary bigger RAM is just LAZY attempt for not optimizing the software.

Unoptimized software like from MIUI/HyperOS needs 64 GB RAM to have similar smooth experience like from 8 GB RAM of OneUI / iOS.

They like to write long comment without actually buying the latest chinese flagship phone, because deep inside they know it was an inferior phone compared to Samsung/Apple.

In real world, people just love samsung and samsung succesfully maintains as number one smartphone marketshare and sold most android flagship in the last 10 years.

Keep writing more longer comment next time 👍

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2023Way better? No any brand is better than Samsung.Well nonestly it is.
Many other brands gives lot more specs for same price.
Also lot more accesories in box.
Samsung now is only about updates and all major players nowdays gives lot updates too just not as frequent as samsung which is better because someone can get tired by updating something every a while.

Both Android and Harnony use Linux as their base.

So, is Harmony OS really any different from Android OS?

                                  No.

Have a bloody great and fulfilled day.

Nicolas F, 24 Oct 2023Time goes by, but some people still don't understand t... moreIdeally, yes, the OS should optimize with how much RAM available. Problem is, these Chinese skins are still tailored for their low end devices that only have 2 or 4GB of RAM. So anything above 8GB is practically a waste and unused as the system keeps killing apps aggressively. Samsung is not that much better, but so far the Chinese skins are just more aggressive. Heck even Huawei eMUI on a device with 8GB RAM, I've actually seen it killed Youtube Music playing in the background despite the device being idle not doing anything else. MiUI, ColorOS, they all are still targeting devices with low RAM. I mean that's a good thing for the low end devices, but the OS should scale gracefully when they are on a device with more RAM.

My point was that these Chinese OEMs are upselling their devices for more money by putting in more RAM, while the consumers buying them may not actually feel any different compared to a device with less RAM. I'd say 8GB is the sweet spot for Android, and anything more is just a waste unless you are playing heavy games or planning to install Linux or Windows on the device.

Time goes by, but some people still don't understand that modern operating systems always utilize all the amount of RAM they have access to, in one way or another, so more RAM is generally still better for users, especially for smart users (I mean, smartphones demand smart users, or what's the point) who are able to spend couple of hours to tweak apps activity (including disabling unnecessary services in MIUI and such) just one time and forget about it while having better working device.
