I don't know the AI strategy used by companies to COLLECT AND USE USER DATA.
In last few years several countries passed bill or law to prevent collecting and using user data without user consent.
Now AI is popping up.
AI need large data sets or else it will not be able to just set an alarm.
Who knows behind AI gimmick companies are trying to steal user data and trying to legalise that process of stealing.
Machines mainly computers since inception are using AI.
Yes old models had limited functions of AI.
Now internet infrastructure can support high amount of data processing which is required by AI.
All i know until AI able to FIND, DIG AND MINE MINERALS needed to build civilization, it is not much risky.🤓
If it can then chance of that dystopia land may arise.☹️
And then i will go to PLUTO so that AI don't attack me.😅

Who said AI was smart? It is the opposite. Okay, there are few usefull picture editing apps. Other than that I haven't seen smart AI yet. Especially tranlator AI. Even a 3 year old can translate better than them. Crypto currency, NFT etc. This is just one of them. Nobody is going to come from future and destroy the humanity.

Dng... moreMy friend, I ama huge proponent of RAW photography. I even have a page on social media where I almost exclusively shoot RAW, process and upload. And believe me, my friends went out for a tour where I basically used both an S22U with the old 108mp sensor and compared it versus the OP 10 pro which uses the enhanced version of the same, the EXMOR R version of IMX789, and believe me, the s22U gave me way more headroom to edit, especially in shadows and colours.
It was a bit noisier than the output from the OP10 Pro, yes, but apart from that, it was an amazing file to work with. The colour science was much better too. OP10 pro sometimes had a bit of a magenta or green tint depending from scene to scene, which I didn't like, but, could easily be solved in post. I usually underexpose a bit in order to not blowout random highlights, because where I am from, it is usually very sunny. And I like the fact that I could pull more from the shadows of S22U than the 10 pro.
Do remember I was talking about the S22U, and I had the opportunity to test out the S23U and it was so much better. So yeah, from my personal experience, I would say the HP2 is an inferior sensor. It is miles better. Also, it shoots excellent 50mp DNG photos which the IMX789 cannot.

Am I the only one getting sick of this "our existing product is now infused with smart AI!" nonsense? We don't want this because it provides minimal benefit to us while being forced on us because this creates new avenues for data selling. If we wanted the AI so much, we'd download software agonistic to a platform to run it, like ChatGPT.
All I want is a reliable experience and useful features like a headphone jack and MicroSD slot. I'm sure that's way more useful than these frankly speculative "AI" features big tech is pushing on us.

if you want AI phone just buy pixel 8 series with tensor that is made for AI
