IPS is also a weak LCD technology in terms of contrast.

VA panels with wide viewing angle filter and mini-LED backlight would be more interesting as an alternative to amoled. But reviewers would still slaughter it, even if it had higher brightness and better color accuracy than amoled, solely focusing on contrast not being infinite. Which LCD also can be, at least VA type, in daylight black is black. Just not in a pitch dark room with no light.

Great news. Now if the cameras on OP12 will be at least just as good as the ones on OnePlus Open, then I'm all in - OnePlus is the only manufacturer apart from Apple, Samsung and ASUS that sells their flagship phone in the country where I live. Oppo and Xiaomi pretty much abandoned my country by ceasing to sell the latest high-end phones, Sony, Google and Moto have been long gone and Vivo has been non-existent from the get-go. I really don't feel comfortable holding onto my now-nearly-5-year-old Huawei P30, so please make it happen OnePlus.

Although its a game changer honestly even a first versions of Amoled or Super Amoleds were game changers since then dont see enoughvimprovements to make such a hype about that not on a 6 inch phones where the difference is so small nobody will sees it or notice it

If you know how big the size and influence of Samsung Group is, you would think twice before writing stupid comment like that.

The time Samsung stops selling (yes, selling not producing) all kinds of smartphone parts (camera sensor, chipset, storage, memory, 5G modem, etc) there would be zero release of new smartphone (all brands).

Thank to Samsung, now any OEM parts competitor (Sony, Qualcomm, BoE, LG, Ericsson, etc.) can't sell its spareparts with illogical expensive price, otherwise companies would prefer to use samsung spareparts instead.

Why does it need to be curved? Just forget about that idiotic, useless, outdated trend, and make them 100% flat - as it all should have stayed. Unreal
