Anyways, I don't buy Apple products and don't use FaceTime.😁

that's very rough to hear. the people here now are judging by smartphones they are using? elitism at its best. getting a job doesn't always need to judge by smartphone brands first.. all it need is good attitude to others. it's just wrong if they get accepted quickly just because they have iphones.

Opus is free and it is superior. WhatsApp is already using Opus AFAIK.

I’m not kidding when I say that iPhones are so dominant here in the US that I’m pretty sure you can’t get some JOBS here without them.
Also, if you see “Androids are laggy/for broke people” memes online and whatnot, huge chance the video is from the US.
We don’t get any BBK brand phones except OnePlus (hence why I like to call it “American Oppo”) and we don’t get Xiaomi. No Honor either. We get Motorola and TCL, Pixel, and Xperia, but basically whatever American tech reviewers show on their videos (ex. MKBHD) is all we get.
iPhone/Samsung duopoly is real here, but I’d say it’s more of an Apple country since iPhones thrive off of carrier deals.
Heck, I know people who would got their iPhones via BOGO deals from T-Mobile.
But if Apple is somehow the most valued tech company in the world despite not having the majority share worldwide compare to Android, then it means a LOT of people are getting FOOLED
