        Also using proprietary charger not something which doesnt works as it have to.
        5 years old devices generate more E-Waste than buying new phone.
        Said E-Waste screen protector and case inbox with your phone is ctrucial for many.
        Noone will buy a 1000+ eur phone without a case and a screen protector. Only a fool who dont know what to do with money.
        Here in Slovakia from average 1000 eur salary where 50-60% goes to bills noone can afford just like that 400 for screen repair anybody will rather buy much cheaper case and screen protector than risk damage and expensive repairs.
        Even people with something like Redmi A2 for 95 euros buying case and a screen protector.
        When comes to screen no gorrila glass makes your phone impenetrable and invincible.
        Even Vertu brand with most ddurable screens on the market Samsung, Apple etc cant be compared so even Vertu phones when luck aint at your side one bump in a public transport and your phone can die.

        Updates dont need a rocket science but also not as necessary as you think.
        Many people not updating either especialy thiose above 50 age.
        Even younger people not update every day because its bothering and tiresome.
        Also not everybody use his phone as a credit card.
        I can say this from view of many thousdant of our customers.
        many phones and brands works pretty well even last update been years ago.
        Still for basic tasks most phones works very well.
        Phones can be recycled and the dying planet will day wheter you will follow envinronmetn or not.
        As long as uber rich people and compoanies are fueled for greed of money they will not stop. *Problem of modern your world is not how to feed poor people but how to feed the rich.

                Never happened before since i had my Lenovo Vibeshot back in 2015.
                Why to use inaproporiate charger with your phone if you have original in the box.
                Will not and will never buy a phone from brand which does not gives original charger in the box apart it will be forced law by EU.

                Screen protector is always neccesary. 90% of people here in Slovakia earns 1000 eur a month from which 60% goes to bills. Like people can afford to pay 400 for new Apple screen or S23 ultra screen. You funny. This is Slovakia no Switzerland or Finland or Norway where even a cleaner at Tesco toilets earns 10 000 a month.

                Man you are really funny. Even on a low cost phones 90% of our customers buys a screen protector 5D 9H tempered glass or better and a quality case.
                One must been super clumsy and mega stupid to use his phone without protection. Even if he gets super carefull accidents can always happens. Like someone bump on you in public transport etc. Your phone breaks because it was unprotected. Very durable screen does not exist. If you werent seen crash test videos of Apple for example or Samsung then watch them. The only durable screen ever exuisted but is no longer in use was a shatter proof screen used by Motorola company back 8-10 years ago. And another example is Vertu brand with real genuine shapphire screens with a mohs scale 9. Far more durable than 99% screen protectors.

                OS updates arent that neccesary either depends on every user. Most people above age of 50+ with no passion for phones just for basic tasks will mock off your updates.
                Even those who are younger does not update or check for updates every single day.
                By the way phones which lasts 4-5 years does not exist. Ever heard of a kill switch???
                Once your warranty wears off is good for E-Waste if you are lucky enough. Know several people where their phones accidentaly stopped working when warranty goes off.
                Apple for perserving and longevity of their devices reduced the phone performance to Helio A22 or worse after several updates. Famous battery gate problem or well known switch which is on since you first run your new phone to perserve your performance. Like anybody want fastest hone on paper with real life experience of Ford model T.
                Samsung low cost phones last only as long as warranty. After 3 years of use and if you always update everything your free ram on something like A14 will went from 4GB to maybe 0,2 GB free ram. In other words you barelly run facebook, brownser or Tik Tok forget about anything else. Pure android phones like Motorola can work even after 3 years because they arent filled with useless apps which are already given by UI like Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo etc. In Samsung or any other chinese smartphones given by UI there is like 50+ apps and you have them already by google and usually better. In case of said Samsung you get like 50+ apps over your basic apps which does same tricks as said google apps. Like the Samsung app gallery over Google play. Samsug Brownser over Google chrome, samsung calculator over google calculator, samsung notes over google notes etc. Total E-Waste. All that makes your phone slower and bloated with apps. Will fill your disk space, ram and performance of your phone.

                Would like to see you how you will feel with 50-80 kilos of extra weight. You will barely have stamina to do something.

                Stock android or pure android experience is miles better, faster, smoother etc.
                Your 5 years old phone will be too slow to use new apps because it will have a very outdated hardware unable to run new software. But suit your self. I am not forcing anyone just telling how it is. Whether you believe to that or no is your choice but you can always run performance tests by Samsung, Xaomim, Oppo, Vivo etc compared to stock android Google, Motorola or Oneplus with Oxygen OS which is almost like stock android or Nothing brand with Nothing UI.

                In my case i buy a phone use it for like 2 up to 3 years and sells it as long as it have value. After 5 years your phone value will be maybe 50 euros. If you havent used case and a screen protector all the time probbably 25 or zero.
                Having a same phone for 5 years. disgusting. Like using a tooth brush for more than 3 months. No thanks.

                    When posting these benchmarks, please add some other phones/Chipsets as reference. You added a link to snapdragon 8 gen 3 reference, which was good, but adding the graph to this post would have saved me a click or Google search to see how this phone compares to others. Thanks :)

The smartphone industry has been in existence for well over a decade and a half now. Screen protectors aren’t as necessary as before since flagship displays, and even some midrange ones, are very durable; the same thing can be said about cases, too. It’s up to the user to decide if they want them or not. And software updates (I was talking about OS updates) are absolutely critical for new features and security vulnerabilities. It isn’t rocket science, dude. Instead of justifying the massive amount of superfluous e-waste devices, especially repetitive phones, that China produces every single year, buy something that’ll last you at least 4-5 years… that’s if you care about this dying planet at all.

                            Like clever people will buy and use 1500 eur S23 ultra without a case a screen protector and a charger. This E-Waste you have to buy anyway othervise your 1500 eur phone will be good as E-Waste within a week or two. Without charger within a half day at most.
                            And the said crappy updates yes like everybody loves to get gazzilions of updates every day case of Samsung. App updates daily. Samsung App gallery updates daily. Crappy UI updates every week. Good for eating your data like Buggatti Chiron eats fuel.
                            By the way since when frequent updates are that important. Many people have and use old phones long time after updates and they still works pretty well.
                            Not everybody uses his phone as a wallet or credit card.

                                      I have one + 9r here, it's now 2 years with it but am tired of pop up adverts every time, and I had liked it but because of the pop ups averts, I don't know if all plus 1 has that thing!?? Tired of it sure
