Must be 16GB at least.

    The design in the picture is good, but without the SPen, this model lacks functionality.

          Exynos and Kirin are super important as the underdogs.

          I wouldn't mind owning one but if battery consumption is high I'd rather go with a midrange Qualcomm or Mediatek as they're on TSMC.

          Exynos and Kirin should compete with price. How about making some Exynos at TSMC. Decouple the chip from the foundry. Like AMD did with Globalfoundries. Otherwise your chip goes down with the foundry, needlessly. If the foundry can only survive with Exynos orders then it isn't economically viable. It has to be competitive globally to be successful. Set it free.

                      Take a look at Smasung S23 FE Exynos edition. In fact, it's more power efficient than the 8 gen 1 is.

                          Because SD 8 Gen 1 is made by Samsung, Gen 2 by TSMC.

                          Friend of mine had both S22U models, one because of his work and one he got on a trip to the US.

                          Only real difference he discovered between both is that the SD one supports OpenGL emulation much better, while the Exynos one really needs Vulkan.

                          And that even then the SD one had better emulation performance, probably due to better compatibility.

                          But both chips are a stove, both cause stutters and both have bad battery life in the S22U.

                          Because both are made by Samsung, if in some twisted world TSMC made a Exynos, I am sure it would be a great chip.

"Oh it's just the same as last year, no reason to upgrade". But of course, not everyone will think like that and probably will still upgrade just for the sake of having the latest model/brag about it.

                                  I hate Exynos to that's the reason i imported my S22 Ultra in Korea. I had the S21 Ultra Exynos version first for around 5 weeks, sold it and bought the SD version. It isn't fair selling the same phone with a superb chip and a silly chip for the same ammount money. Baaaddd politics ❗

Yeah i agree with you that Exnos are trash when used to come with S10s and S20 (specially ultra are the worst), since s21 ultra exynos 2100 things changed for better and hope exynos 2400 doing better than pervious exynos.
