i don't think it can beat the S3 in sale. before it's just only Iphone then Iphone and samsung S3. right now their a lot good smart phone to choose

I like Samsung most because he has satisfied all kinds of level of customers and price is so competitive and reasonable .Look how Apple is looting people.Apple has just 17% of market but he covers almost 70% of profit in the world.Now peoples are not blind that's why Apple going down rapidly who's phones are soooo much overpriced but nothing wow.It is remarkable that how Samsung is developing innovations ,technologies,features while price is very reasonable.

regarding your figures, did you also know people are so keen to take phones at home and play with it for a week or so till they decide to keep it or return, there are loads of people doing the same to taste the performance of GS4 against HTC and Sony, and soon you would have them back in mass numbers! GS4 is absolutely not offering anything special which would make a massive difference to average users! for that reason those who got S3 will never upgrade to this piece of plastic, and those who getting the phone for the first time will end up with HTC one, LG, or even Sony.
Samsung made a BIG mistake to continue with the plastic look of this phone, and they will pay a very heavy price for that. Just check your sales figures in 4 months time and then come back and read this post
GS4 has brought nothing exciting to the table compare to what is in the market already!

I bought galaxy s2 and s3 but I wont buy s4 because it doesnt have FM radio!! I will buy Alcatel Idol X instead!

Those numbers are not unit sold, so it doesnt matter. It's the same for previous galaxy. It's all choked up in the supply chain, Samsung has been raping them with S4 forcing them to hoard up just because they have a binding contract with Samsung. Everyone in the industry knows. So end user please just enjoy the phone, and leave the number crunching to the industry expert.

shipping 6 million units does not mean selling all the phones. there may be thousands of phones lying unsold in the godowns of wholesalers. figures are always hyped up by componies as a sales gimmick
