Remember there was that news (Sept) that said don't expect Apple to launch M3 macbook this year? https://www.gsmarena.com/newscomm-59843.php

I called it fake news propaganda from China, pimping their Mediatek to be first for 2024 launch.

          Well, I stand corrected.

Mills, 31 Oct 2023For those in the comments, its just M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max. ... moreThank you for researching and sharing the information in your post, King!

For those in the comments, its just M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max. They have better cores on a 3nm technology (thanks TSMC!). They have ray tracing and Dynamic Caching (the GPU can use its full potential for the task at hand than just a set amount by the software). Wait until M3 Ultra arrives then true bloodshed begins. There was a lot of Intel sneak-dissing. Weird. Theres also an AV1 decode now.

Anyways, for the iMac, it had M3 now. Cool! Literally nothing changed. Wi-Fi 6E and BT 5.3 is here. (Seriously, whats the difference between 5.0 and 5.3?) Other than that, it literally remarkets the same features and disses Intel again. Weird. The price is still 1299. I'd expect the M1 iMac to resell for around 7-850.

Skipping the basic M3, the 14 inch M3 Pro brings 4 more CPU and 2 more GPU cores and up to 128GB of RAM. Beefy boy. M2 Pro memory bandwidth is 400GB/s while M3 Pro is now 150GB/s. Hm, thats odd. Theres also a missing GPU core (19v18) but it's ray tracing season. On with the display, SDR content is 600 nits. Ports and Wi-Fi stay the same. Theres a bigger battery with 2 more watt hours.

16 inch changes nothing but the chip. Also, please reply to this comment if I missed anything RELEVANT.
