okay guy, 02 Nov 2023the price tag shouldnt limit my uses for dekstop..at least ... moreBecause this developers don't use Mac, mostly use AMD Threadripper with 96+ cores/100+ threads for workstations complete set motherboard, ram, ssd, etc.(not soldered/t4 chip serialized meaning upgradeable/replaceable) or even server EPYC processors at half the cost of the most expensive mac while 2-3-4x more powerful than mac.

Still haven’t gotten rid of that horrible white screen bezel. Such a pointless product anyway being totally un-upgradable compared to the older iMac’s.

Anonymous, 01 Nov 2023And extremely limited.Limited in what way?

If that's customisation, let me just tell you: Functionality over form.

Juerg, 31 Oct 2023Cheap? It's over €800, and it only includes the Mac Mi... moreNot sure what you mean here: mac Mini is a different product altogether from the iMac, which has an all-in-one screen and CPU.

Apple is still pulling the $200 for 256GB storage trick. And $200 for 8GB RAM. I remember back in 2017 when I was dumb I paid the $200 for the additional 8GB of RAM on the iMac. It's still the same price 6 years later when RAM is so much cheaper.

And like most other Apple computers the base model is insufficient, so you must pay €250 extra to have necessary 16 GiB RAM, which cost Apple €10.

That's over €1000 in total. And you still have no screen, keyboard, or mouse.
