    Did he basically say that they plan on doing fake sunset shots the same way they do fake moon shots?

    So far, the vivo X series has been among the best in terms of photography, especially since the X60pro.
    But what they plan on doing here has actually nothing to do with photography anymore because these are images that are being generated based on knowledge how they should typically look like and not how the reals scene does actually look.
    I am all for multi frame exposure and image stacking in order to increase dynamic range or reduce noise levels. Such methods I would consider "legitimate" computational photography, because despite all maths being applied it still is based 100% on the light that it's captured by the sensor.
    This is in stark opposition to the proposed novel methods of generating images of a sunset or moon based on your location, orientation of the lens and time of day. I want images that are based on the photons that reach my camera and not being calculated entirely by a mathematic formula.

Tired of reading this stupid arguments over and over. Sake goes those so called 'reviewers'. Every time they complain about 4k.

        I don't buy the damn phone for using the selfie camera. If I do it's just some selfies with my loved ones and they're perfectly fine.

        If you care about only that aspect to me but Samsung Pixel can whatever.

                Looks really interesting, plus if they are using the newest mediatek soc, could be interesting to see what the end product is like, for mediatek to catch up so fast with qualcomm, having being rather pampered and established... and as you can see with overclocked cpus, you know which country has been pampering their socs towards certain companies, so lets hope mediatek hits em outta the park, get some competition going on, always healthy and well... good socs for everyone and more mobile phones availability on the market, not just in one country, gief xiomi and whatever brand this funky orange chicken might be! (i know the brand, just messin). Anyways, 2024 is going to be an interesting year in more than one way! Cheers and keep on rockin. (has a dream of Nokia doing a fresh come back with a bloody uberphone...) will remain just a dream, however ;((
