kek, 03 Nov 2023This is so weird. Are there even any P30 left working over ... moreP30 Pro here. Works like champ. Day and half on one charge. True, never used bundled 40w charger but 18w one from previous Lumia 950XL. (And, replacing the battery isn't exactly rocket science.)

If there is anyway that Huawei disappoints its international customers is OS updates! We gave up google for the love of huawei smartphone for years and we upgrade almost after two years!
The major disappoint is OS update unlike to iphone! We stuck with EMUI 12 for for long time know.I have huawei mate 40 pro,I love the Phone but OS let me down to the extent I might leave the company to Xiaomi.

Kosinic, 04 Nov 2023No hope for us the p20 Pro users then too bad I think that the Kirin 970 is too old for new OS. Kirin 980 is a miles better SoC compared to the 970.

As a current Mate 20 owner, I'm still hugely impressed with the phone's performance after updating it to EMUI 12. That said, it's crazy to see five-year-old phones still getting official OS support. As far as I'm aware, that is something only Apple and Fairphone can deliver.

Roro, 04 Nov 2023Dear, please return to write comment in 1 year of use like ... moreWireless charging make whole battery under pressure is way worse than cable charging also makes your battery much hotter.
Many sources even GSMArena confirmed this.
If you want lecture anyone start with your self and read something before posting this useless nonsense.

Huawei P30 for me is still one of the best flagship of 2018 to now being feature packed(nano card, 3.5mm jack, ir blaster, etc) Its camera setup can still compete even todays flagship. Phone doesnt overheat compared to snapdragon specially crappynos & is more snappy without google spyware preinstalled & battery can still hold up even today 2023 though I may have to replace soon.

Just hope HarmonyOS goes global soon, else I may just force it to be installed since it may have English language even if its still China exclusive firmware.

Some here laugh at old phone users but turn a blind eye on those Ip15 PM or S23U buyers whose phone usage cab be satisfied with an iPhone X or S10 lol.

kek, 03 Nov 2023This is so weird. Are there even any P30 left working over ... moreStupid comment since when fast charging damages the battery its always the heat and the pressure on battery.
My Moto Edge 40 pro came with a 125W charger in the box and works very well. Using only fast charging.
Would never go back to anything slower.
You can use even 5V/1A charger as long as battery will be at 50 celsius above you have a problem.
By the way my phone with 125W is ready within 15 minutes time when battery barelly gets hotter. Some phones are even faster in charging.
In year 2030 or 2040 a 500W chargers will exist and a opainfully slow 15W or 30W charger will be usefull only for battery damage while said 500W will make it full in like 60 seconds.

Change of circumstances so they can't afford a new one, availabilty of new phones etc. Also the might want to sell their phone or give it to a family member. Even in the UK and other markets in Western Europe price of second hand P30 Pro's seems to be going up. It's probably because phone is ageing well and there is no proper successor offering real features, not gimmicks like high refresh rate... Unfortunately it looks like it's the end of support for us in Europe.
