In a lovely Purple color.

It's a great phone but the bezels just suck, really.

The direct competitor to this phone is Xiaomi 13T Pro. This year it has IP68 dust & water resistance, UFS4.0 storage (up to 1TB+16GB RAM), 4 years of android update, a spectacular 12-bit display with 144Hz refresh rate + DV & HDR10+, a more capable 50MP OIS camera + telephote & better ultrawide (all Leica lens), Dimensity 9200+ (as powerful as SD Gen2) and the 120W charge support plus charger+guard+screen protector in the box. All that said, S23 FE with this price tag & basic specs, is a lame joke! Even sadder when considering a generation miss.

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2023"Virtual proximity sensor" Are you joking Samsung... moreThis is not buggy xiaomi. No problem with samsung proximity sensor. Also, Samsung uses virtual proximity sensor on all its phone since 2019.

That dark purple look so weird for a phone. Pastel colors would be nice.

Should've waited for this instead of buying the f5 pro. USB 2.0 is such a deal breaker and no desktop mode would've been perfect for my mother who wants an all in one device.

Hi, can you please test the haptic feedback on this device? I cannot find anyone else that has reviewed this device and has commented on the haptics.

"Now the FE is back with the same formula - get the base off the acting S series but with some older components to keep the price down, like the chipset and cameras."

The S20 FE and S21 FE did not share this formula. They actually *did* carry more over from the S20/S21 by using their chipsets. The stuff in this S23 FE is already a generation old (a notably bad generation). It should've been the S22 FE. It's a big disappointment.

                    omg that color is amazing

Samsung marketing is at full force with this thing for some reason, with nearly all YouTubers praising this as if it’s a flagship for cheap, ignoring that it’s technically an S22FE, also ignoring its huge bezels and bulkiness and small screen for the size.

Samsung’s remaining advantages are IP68 and software. But this year, literally only the S23 and foldables coming out good from Samsung. The rest (A54, this) is just trending towards bulky and big bezels for some reason.

Who's gonna buy exynos, 8 gen 1 era phone? It's basically s22. Avoid at all costs. Better options available at lower costs.

Anonymous, 06 Nov 2023too bad it looks exactly like a 100$ a14 from all sides. yikesit doesn't when u see them in person, build material from the sides to the panel/bezels, back, etc are all downgraded on the a14 besides of course the internal specs

Not seeing why this even exists and making things worse the european varian uses exynos 2200 that crap compared to SD 8 gen 1. I rather save money and would go for the last years model with better specs as the FE series is just an ripoff.

                                    Exynos??? Skip!!!
Snapdragon 8+gen1 better than this Exynos

Mills, 06 Nov 2023I mean, its a cheaper version of the S23 so of course it... moreI mean, cheaper.. yeah barely, the cheapest I could find a BRAND NEW S23 for is the equivalent of 670 usd, or an also brand new S22 for 570 usd, both make more sense than this "new" phone.

The S23 FE has virtual proximity sensing btw, even the S21 FE had an actual proximity sensor. Which costs Samsung how much? Basically nothing, but it's "totally understandable" that it didn't fit into a phone priced at "only" 500-600 usd.

If the stability of the 8 Gen 1 is good then I'll look into it. If not, I'm looking into a Poco F5
