    It happens, get over it.

I'm on the beta side. Got it last week. No issues.

Not a good sales pitch lol. I like pixel phones but why bother when I could get any other brand that don't have the same track record for issues. I do agree the ui on Samsung and huawei is ugly btw, that's why I'm looking at oppo

I don't "live in a cloud", I have actual first hand experience with people coming with issues with their phones. This is also something reviewers and users around the world have complained about. Meanwhile you're talking about your personal experience with your own personal phone, who's really "in a cloud" lol.

Ouifuf, 07 Nov 2023Always liked pixel phones but this is why I would never get... moreGo, buy it. If you find yourself unlucky, go get a replacement unit.

Me and my two friends we all got Pixel 6 Pro back in the day. One of those units kept losing phone signal randomly, up until the point, you were unable to call him.

Other friend had random reboots and we all had brightness issues, overheating issues, weak battery life, not up to par frames, inconsistent camera quality among the cameras.

I am still writing to you from my unit (both friends now have iPhones of some sort). Google fixed everything their units had issues with and mine ones too. Battery life is still not up to par, but it's better now. Loving all the other quirks and features of Pixel phones and even if I wanted to, I wouldn't get any other brand.

Not many phones that I like have such a great telephoto (hate Samsung's and Huaweis UI so those are no go). iPhone has very noisy telephoto, so no to that either.

For last year or so my GF had more bugs on her iPhone than I did on my Pixel. So that's that. She has iPhone 12 and her signal reception is weaker than mine lol.

Still waiting for the update on my Pixel 8 Pro. Hopefully it fixes the weird screen flickering I've been getting if I have "too many" processes running. It goes away instantly after a reboot, so I'm confident that it's a driver or software bug, they just need to patch it.

I hate to be pessimistic, but judging by the response, Google is just stalling for time.
Its likely that the phones that are looping, will never receive a fix.

777cobalt, 07 Nov 2023It's a shame, honestly. I really like my Pixel 6a but ... moreI am using A33 as my main for 1 year now and its quite buggy out of the box especially the bluetooth and wifi intermittent disconnect issues. Subsequent updates ironed out most of the bugs and I must commend Samsung for the bug-fixing.

Minus point for me is the updates didnt improve the poor standby battery drain, and I suspect the Exynos chipset and Oneui's background activities as the main culprit. Thermal throttling also seems a bit more aggresive now, maybe to avoid heating up the battery too often.
