Android hasn't lagged since ver 2.2
Only Android can use project Butter that is forced 60hz animation Lock. It's impossible to lag.
Go back to your old 2 core laggy WP.
Only android is a true OS able to handle 8 cores
    and 2GB RAM.

This is a slap on the face for the Nexus and all their customers. Worst move by Google. How do you sell the idea of branding the Nexus being the pure Google experience by sleeping in bed with another device??

worst move by google in regards to the devices they sell on the play store.

the s4 costs between 233 and 236 dollars to make, out of which 149 dollars are actually going to samsung itself for it's own components.
anyway...236 for phone + 100 profit for samsung + 50 profit for google = 386...OK 399 tops...that would have been a fair price and everyone would still be making a profit.
399 is acceptable, but 649 is just plain greed. and it will not sell very well.

AnonD-78644, 16 May 2013If it's going to be stock android it doesn't need all that ... moreIt is NOT A NEXUS DEVICE...consider it an unsubsidized GS4, only instead of Touchwiz you will be getting PURE Android and also updates will come directly from Google. That is the going price of the device if you buy it elsewhere anyways.

Google is planning on making user experience seamless and meaningful, if you have actually watched the I/O, may be you will understand, I think a lot of the so call features on Touch Wiz is ok but not great, and that's why Google only want stock Android, and hoping users are concentrating more on all those Google services.

If it's going to be stock android it doesn't need all that processing power and the sensors are going to be useless. Also $649 is way too much for a nexus device, considering how much less an LG Nexus 4 costs.

I think this could be the start of something awesome... I mean, I think every major OEM like Samsung, LG, Sony, and HTC should sell there Flagship devices (at least their lower storage capacity versions) with vanilla Android through google, it would be like having multiple Nexus devices, the only downside would be the price. But it would be an awesome option for everyone. =)
